This video shows how important sustainable mobility is for a climate-neutral Europe. In the last decades, few emissions could be saved in this area, so innovations and changes are needed that affect every single person. Two EUKI projects are used as examples to show that it is worthwhile to get involved in areas such as spatial and mobility planning at local level or the rental of cargo bikes.

EUKI is a project financing instrument by the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU). The EUKI competition for project ideas is implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH. It is the overarching goal of the EUKI to foster climate cooperation within the European Union (EU) in order to mitigate greenhouse gas emissions. EUKI supports climate projects in EU Member states, with a regional focus on Central, Eastern and Southern Europe as well as the Baltic states. On a case by case basis, applicants from EU candidate states may participate or measures may be financed in these states.
